Manchester Art Gallery, formerly Manchester City Art Gallery, is the home of many works of local and international significance, over 25,000 precious objects, and two Hoval ST+ boilers. For many years, our home-built ST+ boilers have provided for the 807,000 square foot building, as well as its visitors, which average around 500,000 people per year.

The gallery boasts 2,000 oil paintings, 3,000 watercolours and drawings, 250 sculptures, 90 miniatures, 1,0000 prints and over 13,000 decorative art objects. Hoval have been providing for the Gallery post-refurbishment, which involved a huge renovation and expansion project, enabling the Gallery to showcase even more spectacular items.

The ST Plus boilers on site are a Hoval UK specific product, and we specialise in building these in our UK production site in Newark. These boilers are high efficiency and low Nox, and are available from 465kW to 2907kW, and their narrow size makes them perfect for boiler rooms with limited space.
