In todays energy hungry world the cost of heat and power is increasingly in the headlines. The efficient use of finite energy reserves is one of the most important challenges faced by modern engineers. Cogeneration, or CHP, is universally recognised as a clean and efficient technology for the generation of heat and power. The technology converts gas into both electricity and heat in a single process at the point of use.
Ten gas fired CHP units are available which offer up to 90% efficiency with electrical outputs from 43kW to 404kW and thermal outputs of 65kW to 472kW.
