Hoval Group management

Peter Gerner, Fabian Frick, Remo Bretscher and Richard Hirschmann form the operational management of the Hoval Group. The four areas of responsibility are geared towards stringent processes and synergies between product groups and between countries. This functional organization promotes end-to-end innovation and strengthens the Group's technological and operational development.

Peter Gerner, co-CEO
Sales Europe & Service, Digital Business

Peter Gerner has been with Hoval since 1996 and has been a member of the Group Executive Board since 1997 – initially as CFO with responsibility for finance, IT and HR until 2003. From 2003 onwards, he served as CEO of Heating Technology for several years. Today, he is responsible for sales in Europe and customer service for the heating and air conditioning technology divisions. He also heads up the digital business and is responsible for product and segment management.

Fabian Frick, co-CEO
Operations, Energy Recovery and Sales Partner Markets & China

Fabian Frick joined Hoval in 2001. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 2003, initially as CEO of Climate Technology, and now heads up Operations (Purchasing, Production and Logistics), the Energy Recovery business area, Sales in Partner Markets and the organisation in China.

Remo Bretscher, CFO
Finances, Human Resource, IT

As CFO of the Hoval Group, Remo Bretscher has been responsible for finance and controlling, human resources management, the legal department, taxes, treasury and IT since 2020. Remo Bretscher and his teams lay the foundation for the functioning of the entire Hoval Group.

Richard Hirschmann, CTO

Research and Development

Richard Hirschmann joined Hoval as CTO in 2026 and is responsible for research and development in this role. His areas of responsibility include the further development of heating and air conditioning technology, as well as new technologies.
